When Samuel Ryder, a seed merchant from St. Albans in Hertfordshire, first sponsored a golf competition in 1927 he could not have dreamed what a huge event it was to become.
The Ryder Cup is the most fiercely contested golf tournament between Britain (Europe) and the United States. It attracts the top names in the sport from both sides of the Atlantic.
This historic newspaper book covers every Ryder Cup from that inaugural match. It is reproduced from original newspapers at the time and is essential reading for a follower of golf. Any articles originally printed in full colour from 2006 onwards will be displayed as such. The pages are bound in a tan, premium, gold embossed, leatherette hardback cover that can be personalised with an embossed name. Further personalisation appears on the title page. A4 in size.
The book can be presented in a Gold & Black 'Remember When' Gift box.
Dispatch 2-3 working days.
Warning: please double check your personalisation as how it appears here will be how it appears on the product, including spacing and punctuation.
